Didacta is the trade association of the German education industry. Didacta has more than 240 members supplying state-of-the art products and solutions to German and international markets. They include manufacturers and distributors of teaching and learning aids, furniture, laboratory equipment and technology as well as publishers, service providers and other organisations.

Didacta acts as intermediary between its members, their clients and policy makers, liaising to enhance the business of its members and to influence the national education policy. Didacta is the main conceptual partner of the trade fair “didacta – the Education Fair”, the world’s largest specialised fair on education.
