E-TERRY is on the mission to scale sustainable agriculture through its autonomous agricultural robot, which automates and digitizes labor-intensive field processes. With a versatile equipment carrier design, we significantly reduce manual labor and operational costs by leveraging advanced AI technologies to provide real-time, precise data for optimal field management. The adaptability and easy transportability make the E-TERRY robot ideal for a wide range of farming conditions, transforming traditional practices into a sustainable and data-driven operation available on a per-hectare service basis.
Our innovative business model introduces a Farming-as-a-Service approach with a 57% profit margin. The granted European patent secures our USP of an universally adaptable farming robot. The agricultural robotics market, within which we operate, shows huge growth potential with a CAGR of 24% and a SAM of €1.6 billion per year in the EU. We have already commenced paid pilots that are operational in the field.
E-TERRY has received significant industry recognition, including awards such as "German Agribusiness of the Year 2023" (Future Agro Challenge) and being ranked among the "Top 4 farm robotics worldwide in 2024" (FoodTech500). Our team consists of nine members from six nations, featuring experts in robotics and AI with startup experience. We maintain strong partnerships with industry leaders such as Bayer, KUKA, Stellantis, EIT Food, among others, and have secured production and initial distribution partners.
We are currently fundraising for our €3M seed round to achieve series readiness for our robotic system, accelerate market entry, expand our sales network, and ultimately, propel our vision of becoming the central solution for future-proof agriculture.

E-TERRY field robot - organic farming at scale
E-TERRY is the first autonomous field robot to combine a highly flexible carrier design and a break-through phenotyping algorithm that enables automated high-precision agriculture in real time. The robot is an open implement carrier that can be equipped with different tools to automate essential field processes (like weeding, harrowing, drilling, spraying) and collects field data for informed crop cultivation.
The E-TERRY achieves high precision agriculture (95% detection accuracy) through the integration of cameras and sensors backed by a computer vision algorithm that enables monitoring on a per-plant level allowing farmers to monitor crop quality, pest incidence, biomass and microclimate.
As a first commercial application, our agricultural robot mechanically removes weeds in onions and sugar beet, since these crops are grown in large volumes combined with exceptionally high weeding costs (€4,700 on average). E-TERRY achieves an impressive weed removal rate of 80%, significantly outperforming our main competitors (53% to 64%), cuts 40% of the manual weeding costs and offers streamlined operation saving up to 360 h/ha of manual work per season. By enhancing operational efficiency and driving down costs, E-TERRY will play a crucial role in helping organic farming scale.
