Silvanet is a large-scale, distributed sensor network for ultra-early wildfire detection and continuous health monitoring of the forest with a central analytics and alerting platform. The wireless sensors are solar-powered, detecting forest fires with embedded AI using gas sensors and measuring temperature, humidity and air pressure.
